A Walk Before Work

I got to work early yesterday. It was hot, I wanted to take pictures and I needed to decrompress a little. And there is no better place to decompress than by the ocean. Manly Beach was full of tourists, backpackers and international students getting a jump on everyone else with their tans. I hope someone’s told them we don’t have an ozone layer. The seagulls were being aggressive, everyone’s ice cream cones were melting faster than they could eat them. Summer is here.

This is what I saw.

And it is one of Sydney’s most popular beaches! I thought about how crowded it would be if it was in another country – we have so much space here, I forget that sometimes.

Such beautiful scenes of blue, aqua and turquoise. I bet you got to work feeling very tranquil. I’m a Brisbane girl but if I could live near the water in Sydney, I’d be up for it!

What do you think?
